Ingredients

  • 1 ¼ cups orange juice
  • 1 banana
  • 1 (1 inch) cube ginger peeled if desired (see note 1, fresh
  • 2 cups strawberry frozen

Instructions

  1. In the bottom of a blender, add the orange juice, banana, fresh ginger, and strawberries. Blend until smooth.

Notes

  • Peeling ginger is optional; peeling removes fibrous skin but is not necessary.
  • This recipe makes about four cups, enough for two 16-ounce servings.
  • Store leftover smoothie in airtight containers in the refrigerator for up to two days.
