Strawberry Crumble
Strawberry Crumble combines fresh strawberries with coconut sugar and cornflour, coated in orange juice, then topped with a whole wheat flour crumble mixed with rolled oats, almond flakes, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and vegan butter. Baking yields a dessert with a juicy, sweet-tart filling under a crisp, nutty topping.

- 4 cups strawberry fresh
- 1 tablespoon coconut sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornflour
- ½ cup orange juice fresh
Crumble Ingredients
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- ½ cup vegan butter
- ⅓ cup rolled oats
- ⅓ cup almond flakes
- ⅓ cup coconut sugar
- ½ teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions
- To prepare the filling, first, wash and cut the strawberries in halves and prepare the orange juice.
- Add the strawberries into a pie or baking dish. Add the cornstarch and sugar and pour the orange juice. Combine all the ingredients making sure the strawberries are properly coated
- In a big mixing bowl, add the flour, oats, almonds, coconut sugar, cinnamon, and melted vegan butter. Combine all the ingredients using your hands until you have a crumbly consistency.
- Sprinkle the topping generously over the strawberries until they are all covered.
- Bake for 35 minutes at 350F (180C)
