Strawberry Gin Smash

This fresh and fruity strawberry gin smash is a super simple cocktail that is perfect for spring and summer!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 lime cut into wedges
  • 6 strawberries hulled
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar to taste
  • 6 ounces gin
  • ice
  • 1/4 cup Club soda or tonic water

Instructions

  1. Add the juice of two wedges of lime to two glasses along with a tbsp of sugar. Muddle the strawberries with the back of a spoon in the glasses until the sugar is mostly dissolved.
  2. Add ice, three ounces of gin to each glass, and fill the glass to the top with club soda.
  3. Enjoy!

Notes

  • Muddle 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup lime juice, and 1/2 lb of strawberries in a pitcher that holds at least 8 cups.
  • Stir in 2 cups of gin then fill to the top with club soda. Pour into ice-filled glasses and garnish with a strawberry.
