Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter unsalted, softened
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups Strawberry Cake Mix dry
- Zest 2 small limes
- 1 Tbsp tequila
- 3 Tbsp sweet and sour mix
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 Tbsp. Margarita salt
Instructions
- In the bowl of a stand mixer add the butter and sugar mix until combined.
- Add lime zest.
- Blend in Tequila and salt.
- .Add cake mix, and Sweet and Sour mix and mix until combined.
- Add 1 Tablespoon of Sweet and sour mix as needed or more, to make a dough consistency.
- Place in a sealable container and refrigerate for 3 hours.
- Roll dough into one-inch balls and roll in powdered sugar and place on a parchment-covered cookie sheet.
- Chill balls in the refrigerator for 15 minutes to firm up
