Strawberry Overnight Oats
Strawberry Overnight Oats is a make-ahead breakfast combining rolled oats soaked overnight in a mixture of Greek yogurt, milk, and mashed strawberries. The result is a thick, creamy oat blend punctuated by fresh strawberry pieces and a hint of coconut. This chilled dish offers a convenient, ready-to-eat start for busy mornings, balancing natural sweetness and creamy texture.
Ingredients
- 2 cups yogurt greek, (560g
- ¾ cup milk or more, to your liking, 177mL
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 2 cups rolled oats 312g
- 1 cup strawberry chopped, 125g
- 1 tablespoon coconut shredded
Instructions
- Mash a third of the strawberries in a bowl and thenv stir in the yogurt, milk, and oats.
- Mix well and set in fridge or ice chest overnight.
- The mixture will be thick, but that is ok!
- To serve, decant the mixture into mason jars (or bowls) and then top with remaining strawberries and coconut.
Notes
- Portion the oats into individual containers before refrigeration for convenient servings.
- Store in the refrigerator for up to five days to maintain freshness and texture.
