Strawberry Overnight Oats
Description
This recipe blends rolled oats with Greek yogurt, milk, and mashed strawberries to create a creamy base that thickens overnight in the refrigerator. The mixture softens the oats and infuses them with strawberry flavor. Additional chopped strawberries and shredded coconut are added as toppings when served, adding fresh fruit texture and a mild coconut crunch. The gentle sweetness is accented by maple syrup.
Preparation is simple with a rest period that helps develop creamy consistency without cooking. The oats remain thick but pleasant to eat and can be stored for several days, making them practical for meal prep. They can be portioned into jars or bowls for grab-and-go breakfasts.
This chilled oat dish works well as a light morning meal or snack, providing a balance of fiber and protein from oats and yogurt combined with fresh fruit. The recipe notes suggest customizing milk quantity for preferred thickness and prepping in advance to portion servings efficiently.
