Ingredients

  • 1 box white cake mix Prepared according to the package
  • 1 3- Ounce Box Strawberry Jell-O
  • 1 Cup boiling water
  • 1 8- Ounce container cool whip Thawed
  • 1 ½ Cup sliced strawberries

Instructions

  1. Prepare the cake mix according to the package and bake according to the instructions for a 9x13 pan. Let cool completely.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the Jell-O and boiling water until all the jell-o has been dissolved.
  3. Use the back of a wooden spoon or a wooden skewer to poke holes in the cake. Pour the Jell-O over the top of the cake. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours.
  4. Before serving, spread the thawed cool whip over the top and top with sliced strawberries.
