Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsweetened nut milk
  • 1 ½ cups frozen whole strawberries
  • 1 tablespoon unsweetened almond butter
  • 3 pitted Medjool Dates
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional add-ins: chia seeds, hemp seeds, protein powder, ground flax, collagen, Greek yogurt, lots of other options

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all ingredients into the carafe of a high-power blender. Blend on high until very smooth and creamy. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • The almond butter in this smoothie gives it a great nutty, roasted flavor profile that reminds me of a fresh baked strawberry shortcake!
  • Medjool dates are added for sweetness—make sure to find the big soft ones, and don’t forget to remove the pits before blending.
