Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie
The Strawberry Shortcake Smoothie blends frozen strawberries, almond milk, vanilla protein powder, and strawberry shortcake flavored granola butter into a creamy, fruity beverage. Its texture is smooth with a subtle crunch from the granola butter if used as topping. This smoothie offers a sweet and satisfying flavor that resembles the dessert it's named after.
Ingredients
- 1 cup strawberry frozen
- ¾ cup almond milk
- 1 coop protein powder I used CleanSimpleEats, vanilla
- 2 tbsp granola butter Oat Haus brand, strawberry shortcake flavor
Instructions
- Simply combine all of the ingredients in your high speed blender and blend until smooth throughout (about 45-60 seconds).
- Top with more Granola Butter and/or additional toppings of choice and enjoy!
Notes
- Adjust almond milk quantity to achieve desired thickness: less for a smoothie bowl, more to drink easily through a straw.
- If using fresh strawberries, add about 1 cup of ice to the blender to chill and thicken the smoothie.
- To make this recipe suitable for children, substitute protein powder with plain or strawberry Greek yogurt.
