Strawberry Smoothie with Yogurt

This Strawberry Smoothie with Yogurt is deliciously thick and creamy. Not only is it yummy, but also healthy and so easy to make!

Ingredients

  • 2 cups crushed ice or ice cubes
  • ½ cup milk
  • 2 cups fresh strawberries - hulled - SEE NOTE 1 for frozen strawberries
  • 1 cup yogurt -SEE NOTE 2
  • 2 tablespoons sugar - optional and adjustable

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. In a blender, put together ice and milk first. Pulse several times to crush the ice.
  2. Add the rest of the ingredients and keep on pulsing until you reach a smooth consistency.
  3. Pour into glasses and serve.

Notes

  • NOTE 1 : If using frozen strawberries, skip the ice and  add a cup of water or milk.
  • NOTE 2 : If you do not like the tartness that the yogurt adds, you can use heavy cream or add a ripe banana.
