Strawberry Vinaigrette Recipe

A refreshing spring or summer dressing, this vinaigrette packs amazing flavors in a few simple ingredients and steps.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup strawberries
  • 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • ½ tsp dried basil
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the strawberries. Cut them into quarters and place them in a jar.
  2. Add the balsamic vinegar, dried basil, olive oil and salt.
  3. Using an immersion blender, blend the ingredients until smooth and well combined. Alternatively, you can use a food processor or a blender.
  4. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate for up to 5 days. Shake well before using.

  • If you prefer a sweeter vinaigrette, add a small amount of honey or maple syrup. Taste and adjust as needed.
