Ingredients

  • 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1.5 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 2 cups sliced strawberries fresh or frozen
  • 1/2 cup chocolate chips
  • 2 cups milk whole milk
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • 3 tbsp butter unsalted and melted
  • 1.5 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Heat the oven to 375F.
  2. Spray your baking dish with cooking spray and then set it aside.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the oats, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, strawberries, and almost all of the chocolate chips. Pour the mixture into the baking dish.
  4. Using the same bowl, whisk together the milk, egg, butter, and vanilla. Pour the liquid mixture over the oat mixture. Sprinkle the rest of the chocolate chips on top.
  5. Bake for 40 minutes, or until the edges are bubbly and the centre set and top golden. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Portion/serve.
