Sugar Free Chocolate Mousse Recipe

A decadently creamy sugar free chocolate mousse with only 3 ingredients. You won't believe how light and airy it is!

Ingredients

  • 6 oz unsweetened chocolate 170g
  • 6 medium eggs room temperature, or 5 large
  • 5 tablespoons Sukrin Fibre syrup or allulose
  • optional: whipped cream as topping

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave or in a non-stick pot over low heat. Stir in the sweetener of your choice, then let cool to lukewarm.
  2. Separate the eggs and whisk the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  3. Stir the egg yolks into the chocolate mixture, then fold in the whipped egg whites.
  4. Spoon the mixture into 6 serving glasses and chill in the fridge until set.
  5. Serve with a dollop of whipped cream.

Notes

  • 1g net carbs per serving. Makes 6 servings. 
  • For a sweeter chocolate mousse, add a few drops liquid stevia.
  • No unsweetened chocolate? Use either sugar free chocolate, which is often sweetened with stevia, or dark chocolate with a minimum of 85% cocoa solids. Depending on how sweet the chocolate is, you might not need any additional sweetener. Just taste and adjust to your liking.
