Swedish Creme with Summer Berries

A custardy, dense, lightly sweet and tasty dessert that is also super simple and decadent – what's not to like?

Ingredients
- 1 cup sour cream
- ½ cup white sugar
- ½ cup PLAIN yogurt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon orange extract (Or 3 TBSP Grand Marnier®)
- 2 cups whipping cream
- 2 cups fresh strawberries cleaned, hulled and sliced
Instructions
- In a large bowl combine the sour cream, yogurt, sugar, vanilla extract, orange Extract (or Orange Liqueur.)
- In a medium deep bowl, whip the whipping cream until light and fluffy and soft peaks form- about 3-5 minutes.
- Slowly fold the prepared whipped cream into the sour cream mixture.
- Pour the cream mixture into tall clear fancy dessert dishes and layer your favorite fruits in 1 or two layers depending on how tall the glasses are.
- Chill in the fridge before serving.
- When ready to serve, also top with sliced strawberries, raspberries or your favorite fresh summer fruit! Enjoy!
Notes
- You can also shave chocolate curls on top for a little extra garnish!
