Sweet Dijon Chicken Breasts

It's  funny.  The best part about this Sweet Dijon Chicken Breasts recipe is not that it only requires 3 ingredients.  The best part is the taste.

Ingredients

  • 4 chicken breast, boneless, skinless
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 6 tblsp brown sugar
  • 2 tblsp lemon juice
  • ½ teaspoon pepper (black or cayenne)
  • ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Prepare a rimmed baking sheet with tinfoil, lightly coated in cooking spray. 
  3. Place chicken in the pan.
  4. In a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, mustard, pepper, salt and lemon juice.
  5. Brush half the mixture over the chicken.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Brush the remaining mixture over the chicken and bake for about 20-30 minutes more, or until juices run clear.  I also try and baste one last time at the 30 minute mark and recommend it if possible. Serve and enjoy!
