Taco Dip

Enjoy this party-perfect taco dip with a creamy blend of cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning, topped with your favorite taco fixings.

Ingredients

  • 16 ounces cream cheese, softened to room temperature
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 4 tablespoons taco seasoning
  • ¾ cup chunky salsa
  • 1 ½ cups finely shredded lettuce
  • 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
  • ½ cup sliced black olives, optional
  • 1 ¼ cup shredded sharp cheddar or Mexican cheese blend

Instructions

  1. Beat together the cream cheese, sour cream, and taco seasoning in a large bowl using an electric mixer until completely smooth and well combined.
  2. Spread the mixture evenly into a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  3. Layer the remaining ingredients on top in this order: chunky salsa, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, olives (if using), and shredded cheese.
  4. Serve immediately or cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Notes

  • Taco seasoning: You can use my homemade taco seasoning or a 1-ounce packet of your favorite store-bought taco seasoning
  • If you like it spicy, top your dip with some diced pickled jalapeños.
