Taco Turkey Patty Melt

This patty melt recipe with a taco twist combines taco seasoned ground turkey, green chilies, spicy cheddar & jalapeño ranch for one scrumptious sandwich!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. taco seasoned ground turkey
  • 8 lices bread
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 4 tbsp jalapeño ranch dressing
  • 4 oz can diced green chilies
  • 2 cups spicy cheddar cheese shredded

Instructions

  1. Form the taco seasoned ground turkey into 4 patties.
  2. Grill or cook the burgers on the stove top, 6-8 minutes per side.
  3. Spread ½ tbsp butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  4. Spread ½ tbsp dressing on the other side.
  5. Add a burger patty on top of the dressing on half of the slices of bread, top each with 2 tbsp green chilies and ½ cup of cheese.
  6. Top with another slice of buttered & dressed bread.
  7. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  8. Once the skillet is warm, place the sandwiches in the skillet and grill for 3-4 minutes per side.
