Tahini Sauce Recipe
This Tahini Sauce blends sesame tahini with garlic, lemon juice, ground cumin, and sea salt to create a creamy, tangy condiment. Ingredients
- ¾ cup tahini
- 2 garlic finely minced cloves
- lemon juice of 2
- ½ teaspoon cumin ground
- 1/3 cup water
- salt sea salt, to taste
Instructions
- Add all of the ingredients together in a medium-size bowl except for the water.
- Whisk it together until combined while slowly drizzling in the water to thin it out.
- Keep cool until ready to serve.
Notes
- You can prepare this sauce up to three days in advance and keep it refrigerated.
- Store the tahini sauce covered in the refrigerator for up to 10 days; freezing is not recommended.
- Both raw and toasted tahini can be used, or you can make your own tahini for this recipe.
- Strain the sauce if you prefer a smoother texture without garlic chunks.
- Use ground white pepper if adding pepper to maintain a smooth, consistent color.
