Tasty Breakfast Sandwiches

We are going to show you how to make breakfast sandwiches that are delicious and budget friendly. This recipe is freezer friendly and so easy.

Ingredients

  • 6 English muffins
  • 8 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese
  • 1 Tbsp butter Melted
  • 6 lices of American cheese
  • 12 lices of Black Forest Ham

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large mix bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt and pepper. Then stir in the shredded mozzarella cheese.
  3. Spray a 9X9 baking pan with a non-stick spray and pour the egg mixture into the pan.
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes until the eggs are cooked through and slightly fluffy. Cut the eggs into 6 equal square pieces.
  5. Then set the oven to the broil setting. Cut the english muffins into halves and butter the cut sides of the muffins and place facing up on a baking sheet.
  6. Broil in the oven for 2-4 minutes until the tops are slightly golden brown. Remove from the oven.
  7. Make the sandwiches by staring with the bottom bun first, then top with the egg, 1 slice of cheese and 2 slices of ham. Top with the top of the english muff and enjoy!
  8. To Freeze: wrap each sandwich in plastic wrap and place them in a large freezer bag.
  9. To reheat from frozen: Unwrap the sandwich from the plastic wrap and wrap in a paper towel. Microwave for 3 minutes on high (flipping the sandwich halfway through the cook time).
  10. To reheat from thawed: Thaw the sandwich out overnight in the refrigerator. Remove from the plastic wrap and wrap in a pepper towel. Microwave for 1 minute on high or until heated through.
