Tequila-Infused Peach Sangria

Ingredients

  • 2 peaches chopped
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 cups tequila blanco recommend Don Julio
  • 2 bottles dry white wine chilled
  • basil leaves
  • Ice cubes

Instructions

  1. In a mason jar, combine peaches, sugar, and tequila. Cover, shake, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  2. To serve, fill pitcher with basil leaves. Pour wine into pitcher. Add tequila mixture; stir. Serve over ice.

Notes

  • The secret to this sangria is the peach infused tequila. You can prepare it ahead of time and let is sit in the fridge for a couple of days.
