Tequila Mojito
The Tequila Mojito is a refreshing cocktail blending fresh mint leaves, lime, simple syrup, and tequila. By shaking or blending these ingredients with ice, the drink releases bright citrus and herbaceous notes, topped with soda water for a fizzy finish. Garnished with mint sprigs, this cocktail offers a balance of sweetness, tartness, and tequila warmth.
Ingredients
- leaves mint big handful, fresh
- 1 ½ lime quartered
- 30 ml simple syrup 1 oz
- 60 ml tequila 2 oz, Patron Anejo or other Reposado or Anejo
- 2 cups ice cubes
- soda water
- mint sprigs for garnish
Instructions
- Place the ice cubes, mint leaves, Tequila and simple syrup in the blender or cocktail shaker. Squeeze in the juice from the limes and divide the limes between each glass. Blend or shake until well combined. Divide between the glasses and top with soda water and sprigs of mint.
Notes
- Prepare simple syrup by simmering equal parts sugar and water until dissolved, then cool and refrigerate for up to one month.
