Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 5 chicken thighs , chopped into 1/4" pieces
- 4 cloves garlic , minced
- 2 Thai chilies , minced
- 2 shallots , thinly sliced
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce
- 1 tablespoon low sodium soy sauce
- 1 teaspoon fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon white sugar
- 1 cup fresh basil , thinly sliced
Instructions
- Add the vegetable oil and chicken to a large skillet or wok on high heat and cook until the chicken is cooked through, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add in the garlic, chilies, and shallots to the pan and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until they are translucent.
- Add in the chicken broth, soy sauce, fish sauce, and sugar, mixing well, and let it reduce for 2-3 minutes until thickened.
- Mix in the basil leaves and cook for 30 seconds until wilted.
