Ingredients

  • 16 oz pickle chips drained
  • 1 cup crushed pork rinds or panko bread crumbs
  • 1 egg
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika optional
  • salt and pepper optional, to taste
  • ranch and hot sauce optional, for serving

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F.
  2. Place the crushed pork rinds or panko bread crumbs in a shallow dish; season with salt, pepper, and smoked paprika if using. Mix together 1 egg with 1 tsp water in another bowl.
  3. Coat the pickles first in the pork rinds, then the egg wash, and finally back into the pork rinds; shake off any excess and transfer to a plate.
  4. Arrange the pickles in a single layer in the air fryer basket; spray with avocado oil for extra crispiness.
  5. Air fry for 8 minutes, then flip and cook an additional 5-6 minutes. Let cool and serve with ranch and hot sauce, if desired.
