The Best Air Fryer London Broil prepares marinated top round steak cooked quickly at high heat in an air fryer. The marinade combines olive oil, red wine vinegar, garlic, smoked paprika, and fresh herbs, imparting robust flavor. The steak develops a nicely seared crust while remaining juicy inside. Resting the meat after cooking enhances tenderness and flavor before slicing.
Ingredients
- 1 top round steak
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 tbsp red wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoons garlic minced
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika this isn't traditional for London broil but we love the flavor it gives steak in the air fryer
- 1 tbsp parsley fresh chopped
- 1 tbsp oregano fresh chopped
- ½ tbsp thyme fresh
- 2 tsp salt sea salt
- 1 tsp black pepper ground
Instructions
- Mince garlic in a small bowl, combine olive oil, red wine vinegar, paprika, parsley, oregano, and thyme.
- Place steak into a casserole dish and pour marinade over the top.
- Cover, and place in the fridge for 2-3 hours. (If you are in a pinch 30 minutes minimum)
- Remove steak from the fridge and let come to room temp (this should take about 20 minutes.)
- Preheat air fryer to 450 degrees.
- Cook 7 minutes each side.
- Remove from heat and let rest 10 minutes before serving.
- Cut pieces at an angle to serve.
