This is the best broccoli salad you'll ever have! It's creamy, crunchy, and packed full of flavor. A delicious mixture of broccoli, bacon, red onion, mozzarella cheese, sunflower seeds, dried cranberries, and creamy homemade dressing.

Ingredients

  • 5 cups raw small broccoli florets
  • 1/2 cup crumbled crispy bacon about 6-8 strips
  • 2/3 cup dried cranberries
  • 1/3 cup minced red onion
  • 1/2 cup shredded mozzarella
  • 1/4 cup sunflower seeds
  • 3/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 tablespoons brown sugar packed
  • 2 tablespoons apple cider vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper or to taste

  1. In a large mixing bowl, add broccoli, bacon, dried cranberries, red onion, mozzarella cheese, and sunflower seeds. Stir to combine.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, kosher salt, and black pepper.
  3. Pour dressing over broccoli and stir to combine.
  4. Let the salad rest for at least 30 minutes before serving. Keep refrigerated until ready to eat.
