This Frozen Lemon Drop Martini is a tart and icy cocktail made by blending vodka, fresh lemon juice, sugar, and ice until slushy. The glass is rimmed with lemon and sugar for a sweet citrus touch that contrasts the sharpness of lemon and vodka. It's a refreshing, chilled drink with a texture between a slushie and a classic martini.
Ingredients
- ½ lemon (use juice for rubbing the glasses and slices for garnish)
- ½ Tbsp sugar (for rimming the glass, as needed)
For the frozen cocktail:
- 1 cup ice cubes (¾ cup if crushed)
- 2 oz vodka 2 shots, Ketel One Citroen
- lemon fresh Meyer lemons are best, juice of ½ lemon
- 2 tsp sugar Baker’s extra-fine
Instructions
- Cut a lemon in half and rub the rim of the martini glass with it, then dip in sugar (you can use the lemon for more drinks later)!
- Put all the remaining ingredients for the frozen lemon drop martini in a blender and blend until the ice is completely slushy.
- Pour into the prepared glass and serve.
