																							Ingredients
for the meatballs
- 1 lb ground beef (or turkey)
 - ½ cup breadcrumbs
 - ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
 - ¼ cup fresh parsley finely chopped
 - 1 tsp garlic powder
 - 1 tsp onion powder
 - salt and pepper to taste
 - 1 egg beaten

for the sauce
- 2 cups tomato sauce
 - 1 cup chicken or vegetable broth
 - 1½ tsp Italian seasoning
 - ½ tsp garlic powder
 - ½ tsp onion powder
 - salt and pepper to taste

for the pasta
- 1 cup small pasta shapes ditalini or elbow macaroni

Instructions
- Make the Meatballs: Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. In a large bowl, mix ground beef, breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, pepper, and the beaten egg. Using a teaspoon, roll the mixture into small meatballs (about 1 inch in diameter) and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 15-20 minutes, or until cooked through and browned.
 - Prepare the Sauce: In a large saucepan, combine the tomato sauce, broth, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the mixture to a simmer over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
 - Cook the Pasta: While the sauce simmers, cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
 - Combine: Once the meatballs are done baking, add them to the sauce and let them simmer for 5-10 minutes to absorb some flavors. Serve warm, garnished with additional parmesan cheese or fresh parsley if desired.
