Tomato Confit Recipe
Tomato Confit involves slow-roasting fresh tomatoes alongside garlic and thyme in olive oil at a low temperature, resulting in tender, richly flavored tomatoes infused with aromatic garlic and herbs. This gentle cooking method brings out concentrated flavors and soft textures, ideal for spreading on bread, adding to pasta, or complementing meats. The inclusion of whole garlic cloves and fresh thyme sprigs enhances the depth of flavor without overpowering the delicate tomatoes.
