This Tortilla Pepperoni Pizza uses a whole wheat tortilla as a thin crust base topped with marinara sauce, mozzarella cheese, turkey pepperoni, oregano, and crushed red pepper. Baked quickly to a bubbly, browned finish, the pizza offers a crisp, low-carb alternative to traditional crust with familiar pizza flavors and a simple preparation.
Ingredients
- 1 whole wheat tortilla La Tortilla Factory Low Carb brand
- 2 ounces mozzarella cheese Trader Joe's Lite brand
- 3 tablespoons marinara sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon oregano dried
- 1 crushed red pepper pinch
- 8 lices turkey pepperoni
- 1 pray canola oil spray
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Assemble your pizza by spreading the marinara on top of the tortilla.
- Add the mozzarella cheese, then pepperoni.
- Top with oregano and crushed red pepper.
- Spray very quickly with canola oil spray (a half second spray)
- Bake for 5-7 minutes, until bubbly and browned.
- Let sit for 2-3 minutes before eating.
