Tropical Kale Smoothie
This Tropical Kale Smoothie blends kale with frozen banana, mango chunks, avocado, orange juice, and water or milk to create a creamy, textured drink. The combination balances the bitterness of kale with natural sweetness from the fruit, producing a refreshing and nutrient-rich smoothie. It is suitable as a quick beverage or light snack and allows for optional additions like protein powder.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup water (or milk of choice)
- 1/2 cup orange juice
- 1/2 banana peeled, frozen
- 2 kale leaves (about 1/2 cup)
- 1 cup Mango frozen chunks
- 1/4 avocado
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend until completely smooth. You may need top and scrape down the sides of the blender to help everything blend evenly. (If you do not have a powerful blender, blend the liquid and kale leaves first, to help them break down before you add the frozen fruit.)
- Pour into a glass and serve right away!
