Ingredients
for the patties--
- 14 oz tuna two 7 oz cans
- 1 large egg
- 4 saltine crackers crushed fine
- 1/2 small red bell pepper petite diced
- 1/4 cup onion petite diced
- 1/2 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
- 1 tablespoon flat leaf parsley fresh, chopped
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon butter
- tartar sauce for service
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients together in a large bowl just until the mixture starts to come together.
- Form into approximately 4 inch in diameter flat patties.
- Preheat large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Melt half of the butter.
- Fry patties for about 5 minutes on each side, or until crispy and browned. You may need to do this in batches depending on the size of your pan.
- Serve immediately with tartar sauce.
