Ingredients
- 4 slices Wheat bread
- ¼ c cheddar cheese, shredded (or 2-4 slices)
- 4 slices deli turkey
- 1 small tomato, sliced
- ½ avocado, sliced
Instructions
- Layer the cheese on two slices of bread.
- Place both slices in a toaster oven or on a baking sheet in an oven under the broiler. Toast for 3-5 minutes, until the cheese starts to melt.
- Remove the cheese bread from the heat and layer on the turkey, tomato, and avocado. Return the sandwiches to the oven for an additional 3-5 minutes, until everything is heated through.
- Top each sandwich with a second slice of bread and return to toaster oven or oven for an additional 5-7 minutes, until top bread is nice and toasted.
- Remove sandwich, cut in half (because everything tastes better that way) and enjoy while warm!
