Ingredients

  • 1.5 lbs turkey 675 g, skinless, boneless, breast or leg meat, cut into cubes
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 medium green onion or 1/2 yellow onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 chipotle pepper from a can in adobo sauce, seeded and finely chopped
  • 2 medium garlic cloves, minced
  • 2 tbsp chili powder can be reduced to 1 tbsp for children
  • 1 tsp cumin ground
  • 1 can beer 341 ml, any sort
  • 1 oz diced tomato 400 ml can
  • 1 oz black beans 400 ml can, rinsed and drained
  • 2 cups butternut squash peeled and diced; about 1/2 or 295 gr frozen cut
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1 tsp black pepper ground
