Ingredients

  • 1 cup milk kefir or coconut milk kefir
  • 1 teaspoon maple syrup or honey, to taste
  • ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
  • black pepper pinch
  • 4 ice optional, cubes

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Blend all ingredients in a blender until smooth.  Taste, and add more sweetener if desired.
  2. Pour smoothie into glass cups, and drink immediately.
  3. Leftovers / Make Ahead: Smoothies can be stored in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Notes

  • Rinse the blender immediately after use to prevent turmeric stains.
  • Avoid serving in plastic cups because the turmeric can stain them.
  • Consume the smoothie fresh or store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
