Tuscan Seasoning

Ingredients

  • 1/2 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon rosemary
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1/2 teaspoon sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon fennel seeds
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
OPTIONAL
  • 1 teaspoon sundried tomatoes finely diced
  • lemon zest

Instructions

    Cup of Yum
  1. Combine all ingredients in a mortar and pestle and grind to break u the fennel seeds.
  2. Store in a jar with tight fitting lid, and use as needed.

Notes

  • I store mine in mini 4oz mason jars (affiliate link) with tight fitting lids
  • Use it in place of Italian seasoning, on pork, chicken or fish.
  • Blend with olive oil and vinegar to make a delicious vinaigrette
  • Make Summery Tuscan Chicken Orzo.
