Ingredients
- 12 ounces good quality dark chocolate chopped
- 5 candy canes crushed
Instructions
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
- Heat a small pot with several inches of water on the stove over medium low heat. Cover the pot with a tightly fitting heat proof bowl making sure the surface of the water doesn't touch the bottom of the bowl.
- Add in the dark chocolate and allow it to melt, stirring occasionally. Remove from the heat and stir until it is completely smooth.
- Pour the chocolate onto the prepared baking sheet and smooth it out into an even layer about 1/8-1/4 inch thick, it won't cover the entire baking sheet.
- Sprinkle the chocolate immediately with the crushed candy canes.
- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator and allow it to harden for 15 minutes before breaking into pieces.
