Ingredients

  • 32 ounces refried beans
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups guacamole
  • 2 cups sour cream
  • 2 cups salsa
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sliced green onion
  • 1/2 cup sliced olives

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, stir together the refried beans, salt, garlic powder, cumin, and cayenne pepper. Mix well to ensure the seasonings are evenly distributed.
  2. Spread the bean mixture evenly in the bottom of a 9x13-inch pan or 3-quart casserole dish, covering the entire surface.
  3. Layer the guacamole evenly on top of the bean mixture.
  4. Spread the sour cream evenly over the guacamole layer, ensuring complete coverage to prevent the avocado from oxidizing and turning brown.
  5. Add the salsa on top of the sour cream layer, spreading it evenly.
  6. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese over the salsa layer.
  7. Top with sliced green onions and olives.
