Ingredients

  • 4 small or 2 large apple Granny Smith variety; chopped and peeled
  • 4 Tablespoons water cold
  • 1/2 Teaspoon cornflour (cornstarch)
  • 100 g brown sugar ½ Cup, soft
  • 1 Teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 500 g puff pastry 17.5 oz, ready-to-roll pack
  • butter or plant-based milk, melted; to brush the pastry
For the glaze:
  • 45 g icing sugar (1/3 Cup)
  • 1 Tablespoon plant-based milk
  • 1 Teaspoon vanilla extract

Notes

  • Can be stored at room temperature for 2-3 days, in an airtight container lined with baking paper.
