Vegan Caesar Salad Dressing

This delightful recipe is easy to follow and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • 1 block silken tofu (500 g, I used Soyarie brand)
  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 2 tbsp tamari
  • 1 lemon juiced
  • 3 tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 2 pinches salt about 1/2 tsp
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp vegan Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp black pepper
To make the salad:
  • 1 romaine heart
  • 1 tsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 tsp freshly grated black pepper
  • 2 handfuls of homemade vegan croutons
  • 2 Gardein Turk'y Cutlets baked (without gravy), and sliced

Instructions

  1. To make the dressing, combine silken tofu, olive oil, tamari, lemon juice, nutritional yeast, salt, dijon mustard, garlic powder, Worcestershire sauce and black pepper in a food processor. Blitz until smooth and creamy. Scrape down the sides and puree until uniform. Transfer to a clean jar.
  2. To make the salad, toss chopped romaine hearts with desired amount of dressing. Serve with a sprinkling of nutritional yeast, a crack of black pepper, croutons, and some baked turk'y cutlets.
  3. Enjoy!
