Vegan French Dressing (Oil-Free!)
This Vegan French Dressing combines apple cider vinegar, tomato paste, maple syrup, and miso for a tangy, slightly sweet, and creamy dressing without any oil. It's smooth and easy to adjust to your taste by blending ingredients with water to reach your preferred consistency. Ideal for salads requiring a flavorful but light dressing.
Ingredients
- 3 Tbsp. apple cider vinegar
- 2 1/2 Tbsp. tomato paste
- 2 Tbsp. pure maple syrup
- 2 tsp. white miso
- 1 1/2 tsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp. smoked paprika (or sweet paprika)
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/4 cup water (more/less)
Instructions
- Place all ingredients in a small high-speed blender. Blend for 20-30 seconds until smooth and creamy.
- Taste and adjust flavors if needed. Or add more water to thin to desired consistency.
Notes
- Store the dressing in a sealed jar in the refrigerator for up to 5 days.
- Dressings tend to thicken after chilling; whisk in a splash of water to thin as desired.
- Adjust seasoning or sweetness to your preference after blending.
