Ingredients
- 1 lb whole wheat rigatoni pasta
- 2 cups fresh basil leaves destemmed
- ½ cup extra virgin olive oil
- 3 tablespoons pine nuts or cashews
- 4 cloves garlic
- sea salt to taste
Instructions
- Combine all of the ingredients in a food processor or high speed blender.
- Blend until a smooth paste is formed.
- Add salt, to taste.
- Serve immediately or store in the refrigerator for 3–5 days.
