Ingredients

  • 2 pork chops 1" thick, boneless
  • 2 tsp vegetable oil such as grapeseed oil or canola oil
  • 1 tsp kosher salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper ground
  • 400 grams vermicelli noodles or rice noodles
  • 1 medium English cucumber cut into matchsticks, spirals or small circles, long
  • 1/4 cup basil thinly sliced, fresh leaves
  • 2 tbsp fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp garlic
  • 4 tsp olive oil
