Ingredients
- 8 stalks scallion (green onions)
- ½ cup neutral oil (vegetable, canola, peanut, avocado, or soybean)
- ⅛ teaspoon salt (optional)
Instructions
- Wash the scallions and pat dry with a paper towel. Finely chop 8 stalks scallion and place them in a heatproof bowl.
- In a small saucepan, heat ½ cup neutral oil over medium heat until hot but not smoking (about 300°F if you’re using a thermometer).
