Ingredients

  • 1.5 lt. – 6 1/3 cups red wine
  • 3 cinnamon sticks
  • 250 gms – 1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
  • 10 cloves
  • 1 pinch nutmeg
  • zest of 2 oranges
  • Zest of 1 lemon
  • 1 apple thinly sliced (with the skin on)

Notes

  • Vin Brule has to be served hot.
