Walking Tacos

Walking Tacos are quick and easy deconstructed tacos that are made and served right in a chip bag.  Great for active parties or on the go meals because they are filling and fast!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 2 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning
  • 5 (1-ounce) small bags Fritos chips (Doritos also are great)
Optional Toppings
  • sliced tomatoes
  • sliced olives
  • shredded lettuce
  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • Sliced avocado

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized skillet, cook and crumble 1 pound lean ground beef, for about 7-10 minutes.
  2. Add in 2 tablespoons homemade taco seasoning and stir to combine.
  3. Assemble the walking tacos by dividing the ground beef mixture between 5 (1-ounce) small bags Fritos chips.
  4. Add your favorite toppings to the bag of chips! We love sliced tomatoes, sliced olives, shredded lettuce, shredded cheese, sour cream, and sliced avocado.
