Whipped Cream Cheese

This light and fluffy whipped cream cheese is so versatile and just makes everything taste so much better!

Ingredients

Basic Whipped Cream Cheese
  • one eight ounce block cream cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons whipping cream
Herb and Garlic Whipped Cream Cheese
  • 3 tablespoons minced chives
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried basil
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
Sweet Whipped Cream Cheese
  • 1-2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Bring the block of cream cheese to room temperature.
  2. Place in the bowl of a stand mixer with the paddle attachment, or in a bowl that you can use a hand mixer with.
  3. Beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add in a tablespoon of the whipping cream.
  4. Continue to beat until light and fluffy, adding in more whipping cream if wanted.
  5. Add in any of the seasonings for the versions that you want, mixing in thoroughly,
  6. Store in a closed container in the refrigerator for 3-4 days.
