Whipped Greek Yogurt
Whipped Greek Yogurt blends thick Greek yogurt, heavy cream, honey, and vanilla into a light, fluffy topping. Whipping aerates the mixture creating soft peaks, making it suitable for dessert toppings or paired with granola and fresh fruit. The balance of creamy richness and gentle sweetness adapts well to many uses.
Ingredients
- 1 cup Greek yogurt such as Fage, 2% or whole, thick
- 3/4 cup heavy cream
- 3 Tbsp honey
- 1 tsp vanilla bean paste or vanilla extract
Instructions
- Add Greek yogurt, heavy cream, honey and vanilla bean paste to a medium mixing bowl.
- Whip mixture on medium speed for about 30 seconds, then increase to high speed and whip until medium stiff peaks form, about 3 to 4 minutes.
- Serve as a topping to desserts or crepes, pair with granola or fresh fruit.
Notes
- For a chocolate version, add 3 tablespoons Dutch process cocoa powder and 2 tablespoons more honey or powdered sugar before whipping.
