Ingredients
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 3 cups white chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon butter
- 1/2 cup toasted pecans , chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- cooking spray
Instructions
- In a heavy saucepan combine the sweetened condensed milk, white chocolate chips and 1 teaspoon of the butter. Melt the mixture over low heat, stirring constantly until thick and glossy, approximately 10 minutes.
- Coat a glass baking dish or pie plate with cooking spray. Spread the hot chocolate mixture into the bottom and allow to cool to room temperature.
- Combine the chopped pecans, cinnamon and nutmeg in small bowl, mix.
- Using your hands, form the cooled chocolate mixture into 1 1/2 inch balls and immediately roll in the pecan mixture. You might have to pack it down a little to make sure it sticks.
- Truffles can be stored in the refrigerator, but will get pretty hard, so give them time to come up to room temperture before serving.
