White Peach Sangria
This White Peach Sangria blends white wine with peach schnapps, frozen mango, pineapple chunks, and pineapple juice, creating a fruit-forward, chilled beverage. Sweetness is adjustable with optional simple syrup. The frozen fruit serves as natural ice cubes, keeping the drink cold without diluting flavor, making it suitable for gatherings or refreshing refreshments.
Ingredients
- 1 white wine chardonnay, pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, or similar, bottle
- ⅓ cup Peach Schnapps
- ¾ cup Mango frozen (you could use fresh but save money and buy frozen, plus they act as “ice cubes”, chunks
- ¾ cup pineapple chunks canned or fresh
- ½ cup pineapple juice from the can of pineapple if you used canned is okay
- ¼ cup simple syrup optional and to taste
Instructions
- To a large pitcher or punch bowl, add all ingredients except simple syrup, stir, and taste.
- If you prefer the sangria slightly sweeter add the simple syrup. To make it, add 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup water to a small kettle and heat over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, cool slightly before adding it to the sangria.
- Refrigerate sangria until chilled, then serve.
Notes
- Store leftover sangria refrigerated for up to one week; flavors mellow and meld with time.
- Make the sangria a day ahead to allow the fruit and alcohol to blend well for richer taste.
- Frozen fruit acts as natural ice, chilling the drink without diluting the flavor.
- Feel free to substitute peach schnapps with other flavored liqueurs like Midori, Chambord, or flavored vodkas.
- Flexible recipe; use fresh or frozen fruits like berries, peaches, or nectarines according to preference and availability.
