White Peach Sangria

This White Peach Sangria blends white wine with peach schnapps, frozen mango, pineapple chunks, and pineapple juice, creating a fruit-forward, chilled beverage. Sweetness is adjustable with optional simple syrup. The frozen fruit serves as natural ice cubes, keeping the drink cold without diluting flavor, making it suitable for gatherings or refreshing refreshments.

Description

White Peach Sangria features a base of white wine varieties like chardonnay or sauvignon blanc combined with peach schnapps to add a peach-flavored liqueur note. Frozen mango chunks and pineapple pieces contribute tropical sweetness and texture, while pineapple juice enriches the fruity flavor profile. This combination produces a pleasantly sweet and fruity sangria with bright, tropical notes.

The recipe allows for optional simple syrup to adjust sweetness according to taste preferences. The use of frozen fruit instead of ice cubes helps chill the drink without watering it down, maintaining flavor integrity. The sangria is stirred together and refrigerated until cold, allowing the flavors to meld and deepen over time.

This sangria suits casual parties or warm-weather gatherings. It can be made a day ahead to develop flavors further. Variations with other fruits or different liquors can personalize this versatile recipe.

Leftover sangria stored in the fridge may improve in flavor over a day, making it practical for advance preparation. Fruits such as berries or nectarines can be swapped based on availability and preference.

Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 white wine chardonnay, pinot grigio, sauvignon blanc, or similar, bottle
  • cup Peach Schnapps
  • ¾ cup Mango frozen (you could use fresh but save money and buy frozen, plus they act as “ice cubes”, chunks
  • ¾ cup pineapple chunks canned or fresh
  • ½ cup pineapple juice from the can of pineapple if you used canned is okay
  • ¼ cup simple syrup optional and to taste

Instructions

  1. To a large pitcher or punch bowl, add all ingredients except simple syrup, stir, and taste.
  2. If you prefer the sangria slightly sweeter add the simple syrup. To make it, add 1/4 cup granulated sugar, 1/4 cup water to a small kettle and heat over low heat, stirring until sugar dissolves, cool slightly before adding it to the sangria.
  3. Refrigerate sangria until chilled, then serve.

Notes

  • Store leftover sangria refrigerated for up to one week; flavors mellow and meld with time.
  • Make the sangria a day ahead to allow the fruit and alcohol to blend well for richer taste.
  • Frozen fruit acts as natural ice, chilling the drink without diluting the flavor.
  • Feel free to substitute peach schnapps with other flavored liqueurs like Midori, Chambord, or flavored vodkas.
  • Flexible recipe; use fresh or frozen fruits like berries, peaches, or nectarines according to preference and availability.
